Description

The contrast between landscapes in Joshua Tree is easy to see. In my photo, the soft sand foreground juts up against the rocky, sandstone hills in the Indian Cove area. In fact, these two different landscapes are one in the same, the sandstone rocks erode to the fine sand that drifts down and forms the deserts of the Mojave. A busy park, but there's good reason, Joshua Tree has some awesome trails and views!
